I’ve lived in the Okanagan since I was five years old, growing up across Kelowna, Lake Country, and West Kelowna. I’m a husband, a dad of two, an operations leader, a coach, and someone who genuinely can’t stop thinking about how to make things work better. This page is the longer version of who I am.
I’ve always learned best by asking questions and being willing to look honestly at the answers, whether that’s a campaign that isn’t performing, a team that isn’t clicking, or a community that deserves better than the status quo.
I’ve spent my career at the intersection of analytics and human understanding. The numbers tell you what’s happening. The people tell you why it matters. You need both to make decisions worth making.
I’m raising my kids here. That makes everything I do in this community, whether it’s coaching a soccer team, volunteering on a campaign, or thinking about what West Kelowna needs, feel less like civic duty and more like looking out for my own family.
The Okanagan is one of the best places in the world to spend time outside, and I try to take full advantage of that. Fishing, camping, and hiking are my resets, the places where the spreadsheets and strategy decks stop mattering for a while and it’s just the water, the trees, and usually at least one of my kids asking how much further we have to walk.
Traveling is another thing I love to do. Experiencing the food, the culture, and more food in other countries is the best. I love to travel both locally and internationally. My family and I love to experience what the Okanagan has to offer, and we have been fortunate enough to see what is out there globally.
Fair warning: this section reveals a lot about my character.
I am a massive Vancouver Canucks fan. Why? Local loyalty, through thick and thin. Mostly thin. If you want evidence of my commitment and resilience, I’ve been a Canucks fan my entire life, and I’m still here. That has to count for something.
The Vancouver Whitecaps, another local team, and one that means a little more to me, given that I spent years coaching youth soccer and helped bring a Whitecaps FC partnership to the Lake Country Youth Soccer Association. The connection runs deeper than just cheering from the couch.
Bayern Munich, this one starts with a goalkeeper. I have played keeper myself for years, and Manuel Neuer is simply the best to ever do it. When he moved from Schalke to Bayern, I started paying closer attention, and the more I watched, the culture, the way the club operates, the standard they hold themselves to, the more I was hooked. A trip to Munich later, and the deal was sealed. Incredible city.
West Bromwich Albion, here’s where it gets interesting. I studied a semester in Birmingham, England, and needed a Premier League team. Wanting to follow the league more broadly, so I chose Arsenal, but my flatmate was a Tottenham supporter and made it very clear that Arsenal was not an option. So, I chose the the only local side at the time that was in the Premier League team in West Brom. Since then, they haven’t been in the Premier League, and I’ve supported them all the same.
I was born in Vancouver and moved to the Okanagan when I was five and have lived here ever since. Kelowna, Lake Country, and now West Kelowna. This valley is the only home I’ve really known.
I’m currently the Chief Operating Officer at CanScribe Career College, where I oversee marketing, admissions, student services, IT, and accounting. I’ve been with the organization in various roles since 2008.
Over a decade of hands-on paid media, CRM, email, and funnel optimization primarily in the education sector. I’ve managed campaigns that reduced cost per conversion by over 60% and grew leads by more than 120%. I own my own marketing agency and manage the marketing at CanScribe.

I have been fortunate enough to start two small businesses myself, both of which have found success. The first is a marketing company where I have been able to work in a multitude of other businesses and the second is more of a passion project, where I sell fishing supplies online. I know I can adapt quickly and easily because I’ve done it already. From retail to education and auto sales.
I’m just a guy who’s dedicated is life to helping people get just a little bit better every day. In my professional career, I have worked in education and helped thousands of students find better careers and better work/life balance. Personally, I have coached hundreds of children on the soccer pitch, but more importantly, instilled values that go beyond the pitch.
Very much so. I’ve spent nearly fifteen years coaching youth soccer across multiple age groups in Lake Country, West Kelowna, Kelowna, and Penticton, served as Chairman of the Lake Country Youth Soccer Association, and volunteered on a federal election campaign in West Kelowna–Peachland in 2024.
I do, a wife and two kids (with one more on the way), who are the main reason I care so much about what this community looks like in ten and twenty years.
It’s home and I love my home. I’ve watched it grow and change, and I have strong feelings about how it should grow from here, thoughtfully, with real attention to the people who live here and the families being raised here.
Exactly. I’m not a politician. What I am is someone who is in the community, working with real people, every day. Knowing the struggles of a community come down to actually being in it, not just saying you are.
